SM City Iloilo Expansion Update: Northwing to open on November
Last June, SM City Iloilo held a tenants’ preview to give its present and future tenants a glimpse of the expansion.
“We also invited local players for them to expand and establish their respective businesses with us,” Garcia said.
The response of the tenants has been very positive, she added.
To note, 76 percent of the units in SM City Iloilo Northwing expansion were already awarded to the tenants.
SM believes in the potential of Iloilo City with its vibrant market intensified by new infrastructure developments.
“These (infrastructures) add to the good business economic climate,” she stressed.
The Northwing expansion of SM City Iloilo covers 44,320 square meters of the mall.
It has four floors and 165 units, which are expected to be occupied by high-end stores and restaurants, leveling up Ilonggos’ lifestyle and entertainment experience.
In addition, Garcia projects SM City Iloilo to become a mecca of shopping, dining, recreating and leisure of Panay Island.
