Welcoming summer at The New Beach Head Resort in Carles

The town of Carles is getting known as one of the top summer destinations in Iloilo. It is where the famous Isla de Gigantes is to be found and there are a lot of white sand beaches and sandbars that you can visit here for your #SummerDiaries.

It takes a day for you to explore the whole of Gigantes Group of Islands and sometimes, tourists would opt to stay in island resorts. The problem with these island resorts is that most of them are very far from the mainland and they are not yet developed. Thus, basic necessities like mobile signal, water and electricity are scarce.

Good thing there are already a number of affordable resorts in mainland Carles which also offer island hopping tour packages and a more convenient stay to guests. And one of those resorts is The New Beach Head Resort.

We were invited to experience The New Beach Head Resort just recently in time for summer. I’ve been to some of the islands in Carles but mostly, for a day tour and I have been actually looking for a resort here where I can recommend to some friends who want to go to Isla de Gigantes.

Just like most parts of Northern Iloilo, The New Beach Head Resort was also greatly affected by Typhoon Yolanda in 2013. Since then, it underwent a lot of renovations to serve its guests better. And yes, as its name says, the resort is literally new.

Resting in a 5,000-square meter property in Brgy. Barosbos, Carles, Iloilo, The New Beach Head Resort offers a peaceful and relaxing accommodation for either family or group of friends. Plus, you can arrange an island hopping tour to see more of Carles including Isla de Gigantes.

The resort also serves fresh seafood and an array of affordable home-cooked dishes that will surely give you a satisfying meal like these:

Kick off your day and get ready for an exciting island hopping experience in Isla de Gigantes with these choices of breakfast meals.
