Cable Car Iloilo welcomes you home with new menu
And speaking about bars, one of my favorite chill places in the metro is Cable Car Iloilo. Aside from having San Francisco pub ambiance, Cable Car has also a homey feels where friends can just hangout and have a fun night together.
Just recently, Cable Car Iloilo called up for a Bloggers’ Night for us to experience why people call them “home”. It turned out to be a fun Saturday night with my fellow Iloilo Bloggers and some vloggers who also joined the group.
We first had Cable Car’s “All Time Favorites” which include the restaurant’s classics, Cable Car Rice and Sisig Rice to kick off our dinner meetup.
After having the classics, we were served with the new dishes in the menu which became my instant favorites – Crispy Fried Tapa, Heartbreaker Pizza and Crispy Chicken Wings.
Despite having new menu, Cable Car still maintained the relationship that they have established with their longtime customers and to widen their market beyond the very healthy nightlife to family dining. With that, they kept some of their signature dishes for those customers who keep on coming back for them.
While the night is getting mature, we had a little challenge to complete our Cable Car experience – the DIY Cocktail. Ofcourse, I never let this challenge pass without trying it out. So, I made my own cocktail which I also drank myself after. LOL
Too bad, I wasn’t able to try the Beer Pong Tournament which is one of the signature bar games that Cable Car pioneered in the Philippines. This has brought Cable Car to partner with the biggest brands in the Bar industry like PMFTC/Marlboro, Premier Wines and Spirits, Redbull, Heineken, Brown–Forman Corporation/Jack Daniel’s, Hennessy, Emperador Distillers, and San Miguel.
Cable Car Iloilo open on July 2016 and became one of the chain’s greatest milestones back then. Now, it has become one of the bars and restaurants in Iloilo City where people chill either after work on weekdays or have a fun night on weekends.
Cable Car Iloilo has Acoustic Bands every Wednesday- Saturday from 7-9pm and DJ Nights every Friday and Saturday from 10pm onwards.
