Peace is one of the ultimate goals of humanity. In this world where conflicts always arise, peace seems to be unachievable. Yet, simple acts can sometimes make a big difference. This was how "I run for Peace" became a reality.

As an organization which believes that "service to humanity is the best work of life", Junior Chamber International (JCI) – Regatta in partnership with The Outstanding Students of Iloilo Awards (TOSIA) Alumni Circle will stage the “I Run for Peace” at the Gaisano Iloilo City Center (GICC) in Mandurriao, Iloilo City on November 20, 5 am.

I Run for Peace is an advocacy run event which aims to promote wellness and peace among the Ilonggo youth.

The said event is not an ordinary fun run as the participants will be part of the history. Aside from the 5-kilometer run, the event will be also highlighted with the formation of a huge human peace sign to further promote peace.

The human peace sign will symbolize the unity of the youth in finding ways to achieve peace. It will also serve a reminder to humanity that peace is possible.

Moreover, runners will have the chance to have a glimpse of the much awaited 15.2-hectare Iloilo City Center of the Gaisano Capital Group which boasts its picturesque landscape and state-of-the art structures.
