Nomadic Retrospective: FitFlop unveils Autumn/Winter 2018 Collection in SM City Iloilo
On days when I'm out of the office, I usually wear either sneakers or slippers. More than fashion, the first thing I consider in choosing what to wear is comfortability, thus, I go for slippers, especially when it's just for an outdoor stroll.
That is why I got excited when I received an invite from FitFlop for its Autumn/Winter 2018 Collection launching which happened at SM City Iloilo last September 29.
I was a little curious on for these collection, especially that flip flops isn't fit for winter at all if. Aside from that, Fitflop is also known as a brand for "Superwomen", thus, I also got curios on what they got for the "Supermen" this time.
Themed as "Nomadic Restrospective", FitFlop's Autumn/Winter 2018 Collection pays homage to the "Superwomen" who go beyond their everyday life and chose to respond to the call of adventure.
This season's collection designs speak about clear mind and simple, minimalist lifestyle with the dominance of pastel palette of pinks and blues and simple and classic silhouettes. Among the prominent designs in the collection include metallic snake patterns (Lulu Toe-Thong Slide, F Sporty II Sneaker, and the Chelsea Boot), mirror tones, and embellishments like pearl, crystal and quartz (Fino, Banda II Sandals, Linny, Tia, Fino Toe Post and Delta Slide).
For the women on-the-go, FitFlop's Autumn/Winter 2018 Collection also brings the athleisure wear that combines both comfort and style.
