SM started with shoes before it became a big name in the Philippine retail industry. Now, its footwear legacy continues by bringing quality yet affordable shoes to different communities across the country.

Simply Shoes, an affiliate of SM Retail opened its 13th store at CityMall Kalibo on April 25.

CityMall Commercial Centers, Inc. executives Ferdinand Sia (leftmost) and Edgar "Injap" Sia II (center) led the ribbon-cutting ceremony. They were joined by Simply Shoes head of Merchandising Nico Chu (second from left), Simply Shoes Business Unit head Eugene Saw (second from right), and Simply Shoes head of operations Rosauro Oquialda (rightmost).

Simply Shoes is a one-stop shop of shoes of all sorts. It offers wide array of shoe selection for ladies, gents and kids.

Simply Shoes carries one of my favorite shoe brands, Milanos. It has trendy designs suited for either casual or formal outfits.

Women will also love Parisian and Solemate sandals and shoes as they combine comfort and style into one.

Kids will find their perfect sole match with the shoes from Sugar Kids, Tough Kids, Sofia the First, Barbie, Batman, Frozen, Justice League, Planet, Spiderman, and Fisher Price.

Meanwhile, for those who have active lifestyles and love to always go outdoor, sporty shoes, slippers and mandals courtesy of World Balance, Easy Soft, Duralite, Islander, Beachwalk, Toeberries, Sprint, and Kicks.

Simply Shoes is not only for shoes alone. It has also wide array of bags from Hawk, Heartstring, Transgear, Grab Bags, Summit, and Salvatore Mann.

Having the concept of bringing the house brands of SM closer to the community, Simply Shoes is opening more stores in the next months.

Among the areas in the pipeline include Tiaong in Quezon, Tagaytay, Alabang, and La Trinidad in Benguet. It targets to open 100 stores in the next five years.

Last October 2015, Simpply Shoes also opened a store in CityMall Tagbak in Jaro.
