CityMall Kalibo now open

CityMall Kalibo is located along
a road connecting Mabini and Toting Reyes Streets.

CITYMALL Commercial Centers, Inc. (CMCCI) has officially opened CityMall Kalibo on April 25.

Situated in a 1.1 hectare lot along a road connecting Mabini and Toting Reyes Streets, CityMall Kalibo serves as another dining and leisure destination for the people of the said town.




The said newly-opened “Everyday Mall” houses stalls and stores with diverse offerings. Its foodcourt for example, has the leading fastfood chains namely, Jollibee, Mang Inasal and Chowking. SM affiliates such as Ace Hardware, SM Appliance, BDO, Savemore and Simply Shoes are also found in CityMall Kalibo.

Other stores include Highlands Coffee, RRJ Apparel, Expressions Bookstore, Nami Souvenir Shop, Universal Eye Check, Le Salon, Ministop, and Fun Nation Amusement.


Thousands of Alkanons came to witness grand opening of CityMall's 11th mall which is conveniently located near the public market, school and hospital.


Also present during the grand opening were brothers Edgar “Injap” Sia II and Ferdinand Sia of DoubleDragon Properties, Inc.

CMCCI is a company owned by DoubleDragon Properties Corp. (66 percrent) and SM Investments Corp. (34 percent).

DoubleDragon is owned by Sia and Jollibee founder Tony Tan Caktiong, while SM Investments Corp. is owned by Henry Sy.

Kalibo’s local leaders headed by Mayor William Lachica, CityMall Kalibo partners, and celebrity guest Rayver Cruz are also present during the said event.

CityMall Kalibo is the third CityMall to open in Panay Island after CityMall Roxas in Capiz – its first mall – which started operating March last year and CityMall Tagbak in Iloilo City which opened in October.

CMCCI targets to open 100 stores by 2020.

CityMall Kalibo is open daily from 9 am to 9 pm.
