The country’s “homegrown brew” continues to expand in Iloilo.

Bo’s Coffee recently opened a full store at the Lower Ground Floor of SM City Iloilo Northwing, giving the Ilonggos more reason to enjoy their cup of coffee.

The newly-opened Bo’s Coffee is just few steps away from its stall in the same mall and its second full store in Iloilo after opening at the Shop at Atria last year.

Aside from its aromatic brewed coffee sourced from local Arabica beans from the mountains of Benguet and Sagada in the north and Mt. Apo, Mt. Kitanglad and Mt. Matutum in the south, Bo’s Coffee also serves delectable cakes, cookies, gelato, sandwiches, local chocolates, and breakfast meals to fully satisfy one’s gastronomic cravings.

The coffee shop’s semi-industrial interiors gives every coffee shop lover a local feel especially that its furniture were made by no less than Vito Selma who won in the prestigious French Open for Furniture.

Bo’s Coffee National Operations Manager Ivy Benatiro stressed that more than promoting the local products and artistry, they also support social entrepreneurs.

One of their partners is Rags2Riches, a social enterprise that provides livelihood to the less-privileged women by helping single mothers weave bags and other staff. Rags2Riches has become Bo’s Coffee’s partner in creating cozy cups that they sell in the store.

Despite strong competition of global brands in the market, Bo’s Coffee remain to be one of the leading coffee shop brands in the country.

It boasts its traditional way of brewing coffee called Pour Over Method to achieve the bean's authentic flavor.

To note, as it celebrate its 20th anniversary on June 28, Bo’s Coffee promises to further expand and reach the global arena as it will open to open two branches in Qatar within the year.

At present, Bo’s Coffee has 91 stores nationwide. It targets to open a total of 120 stores by the end of the year.
