Now on its 10th year, MYOH has been a much-anticipated event of Havaianaticos as it is the only time of the year when they get to personalize their Havaianas slippers.

For this year’s installation, Havaianas which means “Hawaiians” in Portuguese makes the summer of Filipinos more fun as MYOH was simultaneously held in various key cities of the country, and for the first time in 10 years, the said summer affair opened in all select All Flip-Flops branches and pop-up stores which include the one located in SM City Iloilo.

According to Havaianas Philippines managing director Anne Gonzales, MYOH which was introduced to the local in 2006, has grown so big in the Philippines that they have to do it simultaneously nationwide to cater to all Havaianaticos.

“Havaianas occupies a special place in the hearts (and feet) of our Filipino customers, hence, we are bringing this special personalized to them,” she added.

Aside from giving the Havaianaticos the chance to personalize their flip flops, the event is also an opportunity for the youth who serve as the slipper makers to have a worthwhile activity and great experience while spending their summer vacation.
