I have been curious of what's inside SM Strata, the building across SM City Iloilo which is now open for parking.



Apparently, I got the rare chance to explore this much-awaited building just recently. And I must say that this will surely be an addition to Iloilo City's proofs of progress.


The P2-billion SM Strata started its construction last March 7 and will soon house offices and commercial spaces, noting its 58,346.12 sq. m. total area . This 18-storey tower designates its 7th to 8th levels to accommodate BPO locators and offices while its 2nd to 5th floors are intended for parking.


It's ground floor is now occupied by Savemore Market which adds convenience to the on-the-go commuters who pass by the area.



More than being an evidence to Iloilo City's unstoppable economic boom, SM Strata also aims to provide job opportunities not only to the Ilonggos, but also to the neighboring provinces.

Located along Benigno Aquino Avenue (popularly known as Diversion Road), SM Strata is also poised to become an employment generator as it is foreseen to house around 12,300 employees per shift once the BPO offices go in full swing.


Indeed, there is a bright future waiting for Iloilo City at SM Strata. It's height is a depiction of the towering possibilities that it can bring to the Ilonggo community.
