I always say that more than the old mansions, heritage churches and fun-loving people, Iloilo is home to delightful gastronomic attractions. We have the popular batchoy and pancit molo for snacks; KBL (kadios, baboy, langka), chicken inasal and talaba (oyster) for main course; and biscocho, piaya and butterscotch for dessert.

My friends from other places would always agree when I say that it's really hard to be on a diet if you live in Iloilo. With the affordable yet delicious food here, anyone will be tempted to always have a cheat day.

Before, tourists visiting Iloilo would always jump one restaurant to another just to taste all these must-eats. Now, you can already taste these local gastronomic wonders in just one #eatinirary. Thus, giving you more time to try other things and visit the must-sees in the City of Love.

Farm to Table is one of the brainchilds of Ilonggo celebrity chef Pauline Banusing. This restaurant aims to support the local organic farmers by serving organic food.

The menu is full of local dishes with some modern twist and that includes Iloilo's very own batchoy. Farm to Table's version is meatier with its beef toppings and has creamier broth - a new twist but still tastes authentic.

Biscocho Haus is already an established name in Iloilo whenit comes to pasalubong. They have all the local delicacies of Iloilo such as biscocho, piaya, galletas, butong-butong, polvoron, pinasugbo and butterscotch.
