ILOILO City – Seda Atria officially welcomed Christmas with the launching of their Christmas attraction through Tree Lighting ceremony on December 2 at the Misto Restaurant.

Leading the ceremonial lighting were Seda Atria hotel manager Joseph Del Rosario and Iloilo City Tourism Officer Junel Ann Divinagracia.

It is the 2nd time of Seda Atria to organize a tree lighting ceremony to welcome the Holiday season and according to Del Rosario it is their humble way of saying thank you to the hotel patrons’ trust and support that they have been giving Seda Atria.

This year’s theme is “Alibangbang” – a mixture of gold, silver and bronze highlighting locally made products such as burlap (jute sack), buri (taffia), nito (rattan) and the world-renowned “Hablon” fabric which is a heritage industry of Iloilo.

The event was made special by a Christmas-themed cocktail buffet of local and international favorites prepared by their very talented Kitchen team led by Chef Albert Ledesma, Seda Atria’s OIC Sous Chef.

The Tree lighting ceremony was also highlighted by performances from the Kinaadman Chorale of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU) Molo.
